Sarah Jaffe is a graduate of Columbia Law School. She worked as an attorney for seven years representing children in the foster care system, and currently writes on a freelance basis. She has a particular interest in writing about the gap between rich and poor children in the United States, how government systems impact the lives of those living in poverty, and parenting in our anxious modern age. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and toddler.
